Bo is a gentle senior guy who enjoys company of other large senior dogs who are calm. He is NOT good at all with cats or small dogs. He previously was a hunting dog and has very high prey drive. Bo needs a secure fenced yard or walked on leash with responsible owner. He has been treated for heartworms and must be kept on preventative for life.

ESCAPE ARTIST AND CLIMBS FENCES!! She can jump over a 6 ft fence and clear it without touching! She needs to be kept on leash at all times outdoors and monitored closely. She will escape and run off.

Caspian was surrendered as a stray that was injured and had scars all over him. We do not know what happened in his past, but we can see that he doesn't hold grudges. He has grown into a happy healthy big boy, and he loves to play rough and rowdy with other dogs. Fenced yard required.

Shortie is exactly what her name describes. She is a tiny little ball of energy. She does great on leash walks and loves to play in the fenced yard.

NOT GOOD AROUND LIVESTOCK!! He was found as stray and was chasing cows. He needs to be kept in fenced yard or on leash to keep him safe. He still needs some house training, but we think he'll do good with patience. He plays well with other rowdy dogs.

Scrappy is a playful happy guy. He loves everyone and everything. Does well on leash and loves playgroup with others.

She was a frequent flyer at the shelter as a stray, but this time the owner didn't bother to pick her up. She has had pups in the past. She is a sweet girl and is good with other dogs with proper introduction and monitoring. She really needs a fenced yard, but does well on leash walks too. She likes to run away, so she needs to be kept safely contained.

Katniss was returned from adoption when her owner passed away. She was sooooo happy to be back with us at the shelter since she grew up here. But we think she deserves a family who loves her and she needs to be someone's couch potato. Fenced yard required.

Toby is a sweet, adorable fella. I got him as a puppy 7-8 years ago. I have had to move into a senior housing apartment and can only keep my 13 year old female, otherwise I wouldn't be parting with him. I want him to go to a home where he'll be loved and well cared for.

Spookie was a recent return from adoption when her owner passed away. She is very sad to be back in the shelter. She is a senior, so she needs a quiet home with someone who can give her time to adjust and feel safe.

Ying and Yang are an extremely bonded pair of sisters, and must stay together always. They do have slight food issues and are doing well on Purina Proplan EN Gastroenteric. They coexist with other cats well, but must be kept separate due to their special food. They are also extremely timid and it takes quite awhile for them to adjust to new surroundings. Needs a quite patient home.

These brothers are a timid pair that came from a hoarding situation and have lived in the shelter for 9 months of their 10 month old lives. They don't necessarily have to go together, but they do seem comforted with each other nearby. They do well with others as long as they have time to adjust. They will hide at first until they feel safe. Need a quiet home.

Magnolia came to us while actively giving birth to 4 kittens (all who've been adopted). She was treated for fluid in the ear canal that caused her to have a head tilt, which has since improved, but needs to be monitored closely. She is a very sweet girl who just needs someone to love her as much as we do.
