Ziggy will be the best little friend you could ever ask for. Poor Ziggy has been through quite a lot. He had dental infections in his mouth for so long that it actually deteriorated the entire mandible bone of his jaw. Ziggy is blind in one eye, other than seeing light and darkness. Ziggy gets lots of TLC here. He deserves it! SPECIAL NEEDS Ziggy arrived to us after his stray hold. We don't kno...

Barnaby is the sweetest, most amazing little lamb baby. We LOVE him! He is a bit of a couch potato, but does like to stroll a little, both inside and out. He is curious as to what is going on around him. We have him join doggy daycare, as he likes to watch the other dogs as he explores. If given a choice, he would snuggle all day with his human. Barnaby joined us because he lost his caregiver an...

SPECIAL NEEDS Rudy arrived into rescue when his aging owner could no longer care for him. He is not used to a lot of hands on attention, but it's necessary now that he has had so much eye trouble. He somehow punctured both eyes while in the process of treating his eye infection. He ultimately had to lose both his eyes. As unfortunate as this accident has been, it has brought us closer. Rudy wil...

Little bit is a great dog. We believe she would do great on a farm or large land

Koda is a super fun and great dog. She has so much energy but also can be the best lap dog. Shes got a strong bark to alert any strangers.

Sweet, senior Bernice was surrendered, as her caregiver could no longer care for her. She was being treated for a skin infection that was most likely caused by fleas. She still has some dermatitis. She also has some scars. It doesn't take away from her sweet charm. Bernice has what is believed to be reactive cutaneous histiocytosis, which can be confirmed with a biopsy. Her skin lesions come an...

Willie is happy, as long as he can be close to his humans. What a sweet, SWEET boy! Mia and Willie came into rescue because their owner passed away. They were a bit confused, but we can already see that they are going to be delightful little love-bugs. They decompressed, finished up their vet appointments, and are making friends. We thought they were a bonded pair, but it seems that they are bo...

[ Read About Natural Seizure Care ] Mia is a happy girl that always comes when called, but has an independent side as well. I think she could be a cuddler, but right now she is more interested in exploring her new surroundings. Mia and Willie came into rescue because their owner passed away. They were a bit confused, but we can already see that they are going to be delightful little love-bugs. ...

Jelly Bean is a very loving little girl that looks like a puppy, but is far past her puppy stage. She is a delightful girl that will make an awesome family member! We took in some dogs from an emergency hoarding case. They were pretty malnourished and frightened. Jelly Besn was the only female we took in and the first to be cleared for adoption. That horrible past is over for them. One by one, ...

Wilford is ready for adoption. We will not paint a picture of the perfect pet. He is elderly and set in his ways. He has come a long way with his behavior. With patience and love, he has proven that he can be a sweet pet in the right situation. He loves me and wants to live here forever. He doesn't really like to meet new people. Wilford can play with other dogs, but he is a very selective. He ...

Finn is a 9 year old huskador. He was just rescued from a neglectful situation. He has severe separation anxiety when left alone. He gets along with other dogs outside but would do best being in a one dog home if kept inside. He would need to be kept in a kennel or outside while owner is away from home bc he will chew up property if left alone too long indoors. His prior home included children....

She's a great dog. We got her off of fb marketplace but we just don't have the space with her and we found out she doesn't like other dogs because I have a service dog that she growls at constantly

Marlin is an amazing dog and ready for a family of his own. Don't let his age fool you. He has plenty of life left. He is fun and active. He is also a world class snuggler. This sweet boy is friendly with men, women, and children. He is good with dogs and cats too. Sadly Martin was adopted in the past, but for whatever reason, he was neglected and abandoned. His horrible skin condition didn't h...

Cherub is now available for adoption. Unfortunately he did not live up to his name. Although sweet and innocent, he became afraid at his neuter appointment, nipped his vet technician (causing her to need antibiotics), and now has a permanent record in Colbert County. We do not believe this will ever be an ongoing issue. He has done amazing here. He is very shy and frightened of new people and s...

What a perfect, little snack. PB & J is getting ready for a new home and accepting applications for adoption. He is very slow to warm up to new people, but is extremely loving when he does. He will be the best sidekick ever. PBJ would benefit from a retired owner that is home more than not. He may not be vey patient with children. Whether you call him PBJ, PJ, or Peanut Butter and Jelly, he wil...
