West End Animals And Pets For Sale Or Adoption

Crocket and Boone were surrendered at a shelter in CA. They were shy, anxious and avoidant of people and they did not know how to walk on a leash. Boone (The one with a darker face) was adopted when the boys were still in the shelter, but he was returned only a couple of days later. The adopter claimed that he was too anxious without his brother. Crocket was brought to our attention by a kind a...

Lorelei was surrendered to a high kill shelter with her sisters Treason and Briar. In Southern California there is such an over abundance of dogs that some shelters only accept owner surrender dogs if there is a reason that determines that they are a 'risk to society' in some way. So at just 6 months old these 3 girls were brought to the shelter emaciated and terrified. Their owner claimed that...

Hanzo is another dog that we know very little about except that he was found as a stray and spent three months in a high kill shelter waiting for his owner to get him or someone to adopt him, and that did not happen. Hard to believe because this guy is the most handsome charmer, he s good with other dogs, he is intelligent and honestly probably capable of becoming whatever kind of dog you want ...

Seyvaro was brought into a rural kill-shelter in CA as a stray in October of 2025. And despite all his positive traits, he just sat in the shelter waiting to be acknowledged until May of 2026. ( The fact that he was at the shelter for that long without being listed for euthanasia is a true testament to his good behavior and resilience.) In May he was sponsored by a generous donor to come out he...

Kala's story is one that will stick with you. Kala was found in Southern California, abandoned and chained to a tree. The chain-link collar was embedded in her neck so badly that when the ACO cut it off of her it left a severe laceration that required immediate medical care. The shelter that she was taken to assessed her wounds and since it was obvious noone was coming for her, she was listed f...

Leela was found as a stray in SoCal. She was given her 72 hour notice after just a week of being in the shelter due to her being barrier reactive. She was very stressed and fearful in the shelter, but now that she is out and here with us, she is the most playful energetic, intelligent and charming beauty ever. Leela still seems to be struggling with trusting people as she has exhibited some lea...

Meegosh was rescued from a hoarder home in Southern California with his buddy Vankar. These guys were extremely under socialized and all we know about them is that there were 30 cats in the home as well. Meegosh is very playful, curious and funny. He is always down for a hike or just playing in the yard but he is also content in his crate just chewing on a bone. I do think Meegosh and Vankar wo...

Every time I rescue a dog I want to know their backstory. Ronin's story is like something out of a movie. Ronin was raised in a hoarder home in Apple Valley California with approx 19 other Malinois. On April 26th this year the couple that owned the home got into a domestic dispute, the wife stabbed the husband and after the husband escaped the home allegedly the wife set the home on fire. The w...

Django was found as a stray and brought into a high kill shelter in LA city. He was missing patches of fur and had some wound punctures that appeared to be dog bites on his back left leg. He was very fearful at intake and appeared to be in pain. When reading this, I suspect (especially after knowing and living with Django) he saw another dog and approached it to befriend it and likely was chase...

Luca was found as a stray on the streets on CA in late July (One of the most unideal and unnatural environments for a husky to be in). He was brought to a high kill shelter in LA city. Despite his very chill vibes (especially for a husky) and his attentiveness to his handler/appreciation for affection and his compatibility with other dogs he was not adopted. Luca caught an upper respitory infec...
